I also host coverage of major film festivals for the AMC network. I contributed to MTV News 2012 election coverage and hosted Civics In A Minute for Participant Media, which was selected by The Webby Awards as a 2013 honoree.

I'm on the board of Why Tuesday, a nonpartisan group working to increase American voter participation, and a member of the City Year Los Angeles associates board.

I co-hosted NBC's School Pride and have contributed reporting to CNN, NPR's Weekend Edition and the PBS series WIRED Science.
